Define multiple special characters (and separate auto-completion option lists for each)

Great plugin. Really nice work!

One question about using this plugin. In my use case I actually need to support several types of mentions (e.g. for both projects and users). Can I define multiple special characters and separate auto-completion option lists for each? I haven't figured out how to do that if there's an option for that.

if not, would appreciate some directions on how to extend the plugin for this, and I may be able to give it a try.
