Create Temporary Pricing BOM for rev D of EVPR board with price breaks
Once design is finalized, parts & inventory management:
Update board photos
Create final part numbering, parts table for final revision, also generate translation table between RevC part numbers and final revision part numbers. As much as it bothers me to do so, let's keep the part numbers for extant parts the same to prevent having to relabel the entirety of storage.
Create part numbering, parts table for the USB interface card
Create final group codes for final revision AND the USB interface, ensuring that where part numbers are identical between the two, group code is also identical. Ensure extant group codes are maintained, and produce a list of the eliminated group codes (to be placed into archived storage).
Create a global group code translation table.
Create group code translation table from RevC to final revision
Create new, final pricing BOM for final revision as well as pricing BOM for USB interface card.
Make storage congruent with group codes; Create a USB interface pallet, and EVPR top/bot pallets. Remove extinct part codes, mark as RevC, place in extinct pallet.
Create document describing the final parts management system
Once design is finalized, general project management:
Merge all active branches into single reorganization branch
Completely reorganize the reorganization branch. Seek to eliminate extinct files, simplify structure
Merge reorganization with master
Determine list of items needing documentation
Produce final documentation for list items
Suggestions:
After the project is totally finalized, create a final github issue listing the design constraints for all parts. (The majority of them will be "0603 with X value"), and links to any of the issue threads where they were discussed. This will be VERY helpful if, for some reason, years down the line, major revisions are needed, and a designer wants to know why certain parts were selected.
