Now that we have flexbox and grid, it ought to be possible to get rid of some of the frustrating psoitioning problems that often plague popcorn.

This might be better stated as, implement CSS modernization via

componentized plugin events with id and class attribues
reducuction of hard-coded CSS in plugins
where possible, use of flexbox, grid, etc.
