Abstract

We want to integrate Solana Minting by using the Metaplex NFT Standard (Core) into our NMKR Minting Toolkit NMKR Studio & NMKR Pay.

NMKR is responsible for 25% of all Tokens minted on Cardano, by integrating Solana Minting we want to bring both ecosystems closer together and bring our services to the Solana Community.

With the growing popularity of Solana due to its high transaction speed and low fees, integrating the Metaplex NFT Standard into NMKR Studio and NMKR Pay presents an opportunity to expand our services. This proposal outlines the benefits and plan for this integration, aligning with NMKR's mission to make NFT creation and trading accessible and straightforward.

2. Background

NMKR has successfully minted over 2 million NFTs and collaborated with high-profile entities, establishing itself as the largest NFT infrastructure provider on the Cardano blockchain. Solana's Metaplex Standard offers a streamlined, protocol-level foundation for NFT issuance and management, making it an ideal integration to extend NMKR's capabilities into another vibrant blockchain ecosystem.

Leverage Solana’s Efficiency: Tap into Solana’s fast, low-cost blockchain technology to offer NMKR users more diverse NFT minting options.

Integrate Metaplex Standards: Harness the Metaplex NFT Standard (Core) to ensure our platform supports the latest in Solana-based NFT innovation.

Broaden User Base: Attract a new segment of users interested in Solana’s growing market, enhancing NMKR’s reach and influence.
Simplify Multi-chain NFT Creation: Utilize NMKR's expertise in providing easy-to-use, modular tools to offer seamless multi-chain NFT creation capabilities.

4. Project Description

4.1 Technical Integration

NMKR Studio Update: Adapt NMKR Studio to incorporate Solana’s blockchain infrastructure, integrating Metaplex functionalities while maintaining the user-friendly, no-code interface that our clients value.
NMKR Pay Enhancement: Expand NMKR Pay to support transactions on Solana, ensuring a secure and efficient payment experience with SOL and SPL tokens.

4.2 Features to Be Developed

Multi-Blockchain Support: Enable NMKR Studio to support both Cardano and Solana, allowing users to choose their preferred blockchain for minting NFTs.
Wallet Integrations: Provide support for leading Solana wallets to facilitate easy access and management of NFTs.
Enhanced Analytics: Integrate analytics features that track and report on Solana-based NFT activities, enriching our existing tools.

4.3 Testing and Quality Assurance

Implement comprehensive testing at every development stage, ensuring robust integration and a user-friendly experience across blockchain platforms.
Collaborate with the Solana and Metaplex communities to refine and optimize our implementation.
