Here are the parameters for the Titanlib functions used in the operational quality control at MET Norway when producing the MET Nordic Analysis product (more information about this product is available here: MET-Nordic-dataset). Our observation network includes both primary weather stations (such as WMO stations) and provisional weather stations (such as citizen observations and traditional stations that are not WMO).
temperature: QC_parameters_temperature.txt
precipitation: QC_parameters_precipitation_PT1H.txt
Please note that the names of the arguments in these text files may slightly differ from those used in Titanlib. We pass these arguments to a wrapper function that calls Titanlib tests sequentially. Only observations that are not flagged proceed to the next test. Also, note that several parameters of the Titanlib functions can be either a single value or an array of values. This allows us to pass different quality control arguments for primary and provisional stations. In addition to Titanlib tests, we also perform elevation and metadata checks. For precipitation, a temperature cross-check is done so we exclude the usage of stations that are not heated in conditions close to freezing.
