It's quite common in trac tickets and wiki pages to see invalid links to branch revisions or changesets. By invalid I mean references to svn:// URLs, or links that will become broken when a branch is deleted.
This means that a ticket / wiki page is less usable as a permanent audit trial than it could be. In most cases the information that the broken link is intended to provide can be discovered with some detective work, but that can be frustrating.
I believe that a major contributor to this is use of fcm info and log commands to generate information for pasting into trac (I know for a fact some users do this).
...
Is it possible (and sensible) to have an fcm option to generate a trac friendly link?
...
Consider that fcm info is a simple wrapper to svn info, we should not modify it. However, we can easily add Trac friendly fields to fcm loc-layout. To encourage usage of this command, we can probably add an easier alias for it, e.g. fcm show?
