what if it actually looks like 2 fans with opposite directions, how to catch that?

should this be left for a science analysis? Make it cut dependent? Or, for example, for activity counts, let all objects survive (because they look like actual 2 fans) and for covered area studies, i could take the union of the polygons over areas.
