Request for VS 2015+Apache Cordova +Angular 2 with Typescript example project

I an new at Angular and JS, but familiar with Typescript, so can you create simple seed project with VS 2015 (or VS Code)+Apache Cordova+Angular 2 beta +Typescript?

Would this actually work on any of the existing devices?
The answer to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/32263501/is-cordova-supporting-es6-and-or-angular2 points out that Angular 2 uses ECMAScript 6 which wouldn't be supported by most browsers.
