Open the cloned project in VS Code
Create a new branch in GitHub (Azure)
Come back to VS code after creating branch and pull the changes.
Now, newly created branch is not appearing in the checkout to dropdown.
But, after re-opening VS code, newly created branch is listed.

Thanks for creating this issue! It looks like you may be using an old version of VS Code, the latest stable release is 1.95.3. Please try upgrading to the latest version and checking whether this issue remains.
