Sickbeard is a curmudgeony project that doesn't really pull in improvements. If you want improvements you are probably better off going with a fork like in this thread where the sickbeard developers have obviously lost interest in their own project so much that they no longer even reply to pull requests. https://github.com/midgetspy/Sick-Beard/pull/445#issuecomment-10172892
