Hi. thanks for your feedback, but I don't know why this is the case. LosslessCut's video player doesn't do any special processing. It simply uses Chromium's built in HTML5 video player, which is based on ffmpeg and uses hardware decoding for h265/hevc files (could it be the hardware decoding that gives the correct colours?) I guess hats off to the Google Chromium developers for implementing a good video player 🤷 |

wellll thanks for the reply I figured out a solution almost as good. Man
HDR is confusing thing on windows thanks again. I guess it is my default

this program is so damn good that it plays flawlessly just the basic settings any hdr log content I have on my alienware oled monitor.
I've tried potplayer, mpv, vlc, svp, mhc, recently got some program called color control off github, I mean you name it I have tried it. I desperately want to share these beautiful colors with my family and the world. I keep thinking it must be monitor, nvidia, or windows settings. I play around with color spaces etc. but it can't be because sure enough I open up lossless cut and its right there vivid and beautiful. Bring it into adobe and it's gone. Please help why is my video so perfect and good looking without even playing with settings. I want to use these settings for everything else. I try to color grade it but still I prefer lossless style and I sure would love a default of lossless style to slap on anything.
I am using the windows store version to support ya. I have default settings, windows 11, intel cpu, nvidia 4090, and my main monitor is the AW3225QF. I have tried everything currently am on an HDR1000 profile. It remains only so beautiful in lossless cut. I have off prefer strong colors checkbox. The footage I am currently trying to figure out was shot on an olympus camera and is om-log400 10 bit . I have allso tried hdri I think its called and same effect. I am obviously brand new at shooting hdr footage I'm sorry if this is a really dumb question.
I am guessing some kind of a lut or change of color space is implemented in losslless cut and whatever it is I love it is perfect for my log footage maybe someone could share?
See attached image with mpv, potplayer vs lossless on right
Thank you for the amazing work best program most helpful amazing 10/10
