Is this project still active? Does it support current Android versions in use, 6-7-8?

It's not active at the moment. I haven't tested against newer androids.

I've added the missing targets in the "pindah.rb" file and I've compiled it for Android 5.1 (API 22) and compiled it perfectly and works fine in the emulator.
Then you only have to update the targets in that file and we already have it up and running.
