Are there potential integer overflows here? Probably. The high risk assessment is a stretch. Integer overflows, while being technically undefined behavior, are not automatically "high risk". Vulnerability severity is a practical assessment. At a brief glance, the issues in question don't seem to be very problematic practically.
This is what you should have figured out before reporting this as a "high" severity vulnerability. Or, you could have just been honest that you don't know the severity of this "vulnerability" because you haven't analyzed it properly, rather than inflating the issue with a bunch of generic fluff. |

Description:
In the parse_content_range() function, at lines 936, 942, 955, there exists a vulnerability related to an integer overflow. The vulnerability arises from the calculation of the variable num, which is assigned the value of
num = 10 * num + (*hdr - '0');
Both the multiplication and addition can lead to an integer overflow, and lead to unexpected behavior, due to the lack of validation.
Furthermore similarly to curl/curl#12983, at line 3739 of function gethttp(), the calculation of the contlen variable can also overflow:
contlen = last_byte_pos - first_byte_pos + 1;
