Problem deploying agent on target machine

I have ran into a problem when trying to deploy an agent on another target machine. it works when i deploy it on the same machine that is running the CALDERA server but doesn't when i try it on another linux machine. I ran into this problem.

nohup: ignoring input and appending output to 'nohup.out'
nohup: failed to run command './': Permission denied
[1] + exit 126 nohup ./$agent -server $server

Ive tried chmod +x nohup.out but it still doesnt work. Please help me
