Bug Description

According to the changelog, with version 2.4

Add support for exporting crates, playlists and the library to Engine Prime and Denon standalone controllers

While I can export crates or the entire library, I can not export playlists. Those are also not included when I export the entire library.
Am I overlooking something in the menus or is this a mistake in the changelog?

Version

2.4.0

OS

NixOS 24.05

Hi @merspieler,

I believe this is a typo... I haven't consciously implemented playlist support.

In older versions of the Engine format, playlists were a distinct concept different from crates, but now they're all merged into the same "list" concept. Regardless, there is a ticket for the underlying library to add support to the high level API: xsco/libdjinterop#35

Once that's available, it should be relatively easy to add support to mixxx.

So we just need to change the changelog to fix this? :P

https://github.com/mixxxdj/manual/blob/2.4/source/chapters/appendix/changelog.rst
https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx/blob/2.4/CHANGELOG.md

Btw volunteers are welcome to document the export function mixxxdj/manual#498

Yes 😄.

But of course I'll always welcome contributions to libdjinterop too!

Looking forward to that. (I got the feeling, that crates are also already kinda sorted like that when I did poke in the sqlite file to find problems)
I'd contribute to the manual if it were like plain readme but this looks really complicated... don't have spoons for that
