I have issues with the bibliography in the latex template.
I uploaded your template in an OverLeaf project (overleaf internal to my entity, not the public one, not tested). At compilation, the bibliography entries are not correctly parsed resulting in many Citation '[label_of_the_reference]' on page X undefined on input line XXX. error messages.
The generated PDF then show the label of the reference instead of the name of author 👍

I have the same issue opening the project with texMaker on Windows.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Are there any warnings such as missing example-paper.bib? It works fine for me.

Thanks for your reply. I updloaded my project on the public OverLeaf and it indeed works.
So the problem is somehow related to my local configuration of texmaker and the instance of OverLeaf of my company, even if I can still generate working bibliography with these tools when I am not using the Modelica Conference Template.
What's special with this template ?

Otherwise, on the internal OverLeaf, I have no specific error but the one I posted opening the issue (undefined citation).

It might just be that biblatex/biber is used now instead of the old bibtex? Modern LaTeX distributions should support it (latexmk works fine).
