discussion needed around other wrappers internal to MoJ. How wide spread is boto3 used directly? Do we use boto3? Or our own wrapper, if so, which wrapper? |

boto3 is used directly quite widely. In many cases, awswrangler is the appropriate alternative as a higher-level interface to aws things (and pydbtools as a wrapper for awswrangler's athena component). They're often useful in tandem though |
