Need support for folders #3
Comments
This would help a lot as I was using FBReader previously with everything in directories by author and then sometimes serie. Then I learned of harbour-books and tried it with one book and found it nicer than FBReader and now I must mess my order in order to read the books. |
This will be even more important when people get their tablets. After all, it is most likely that more people, including myself, will use the tablet as a more frequent reading device. |
Such an ability is definitely useful. |
Folders are sort of supported in 1.0.10 already, it's just there's no UI to create folders and drop books in there. But if you create folders yourself and move books there from the command line or something, folders show up in the UI and you can navigate between them. |
Wow, cool! It really works. Of course implementation in UI would be preferable, but it's good as is anyway. Thanks for explaining, @monich |
Obviously, users need to be able to organize books into named folders. Rearranging does help a bit but try dragging a book from the very top to the bottom of the list consisting of hundreds of books. One by one. It's not going to be a pleasant experience.
