Are documented dpendencies correct ?

Hi Team,

I have noticed that android app build doesn't work as expected with Java 8 and should be used Java 11 due to the use of expo-updates-gradle-plugin. And it seems it is mandatory to do git init on the project if you are downloading the release code as a zip or other format.

While appreciating all hard-work your team, will it be possible to make steps / readme noob-proof ? (I am an absolute noob who is supporting someone with building apk for testing)
