Ctrl+C did not work at all

In my installation Ctrl+C did not work at any Editor at any Computer I use. I have tried with Windows 10 and Windows 11 installations with Mu Editor, VS Code and uPiCraft. As soon as I start a program Ctrl+C did not do anything at all.
Mu Editor is the only one taht allows by closing the REPL and start it again stops the program and activates the REPL to continue work, any othe Editors need an interrupt of the USB connection and reestablishing of the USB connection to come back. Reconnecting of a device that works with a downloaded program is just impossible. I need to reflash Micropython to activate the device again for further work.
I working with the ESP32 with different Versions of Micropython downloaded from the Micropython homepage, flashed with the uPiCraft Version 1.1
