I'd like to set the mixer labels to have the same colors as the tracks. I can do this manually to some extent, however

  • When choosing a dark background the tracks automatically reverse the text color to white (good!), while the mixer does not. AFAIK there is no way to have a black mixer label, but you can set a black background for tracks.

  • Ideally, I would have an option to let the mixer labels follow the color of the associated track

While we're at it, the color selection dialog does some unexpected things:

  • When I mark the color hex-value with the left mouse button, I cannot paste it anywhere with the middle mouse button. E.g. emacs complains about "no selection is available".

  • I tried to use cltr-c to copy the hex-value and this indeed works, but it takes forever. Copying the text with the context-menu is quick, but doesn't work.

Finally, there never seems to be enough room for the mixer labels, while there is obviously plenty of room in the track list. I don't really have a good suggestion here. Wrapping the label text might help, as there is usually enough vertical space for the mixer. Or maybe extract a shorter mixer label from the track name by some syntactic rule. BTW: I managed to sneak a LF into a track name using copy and paste and it displays correctly both in the track list (doubling the track height) and in the mixer label.
