What version of Music Assistant has the issue?

2.2.2

What version of the Home Assistant Integration have you got installed?

Have you tried everything in the Troubleshooting FAQ and reviewed the Open and Closed Issues and Discussions to resolve this yourself?

  • Yes

The problem

When I searched for something in Music Assistant and want to clear the search field to search for a new album/artist I normally hit Ctrl+A to select all and start typing to replace the text. Ctrl+A is only working on the global Search page, but on every other page (Artists, Albums, Tracks, Playlists, Radio, Browse) Ctrl+A is not working. I need to hit shift+home to replace the text.

How to reproduce

Go to the Tracks page, open the search field, type something and try to select all text by using ctrl+A on a Windows machine.

This is because CTRL-A is use for selecting the items list. We will look at this sometime in the future but it is low priority
