I have a SAA2 version. Recently it stopped generating any signal above 140MHz. Took me a long time to figure this out.
I am not sure if this issue occured after a firmware update.
Now, in code, I see that ADF4350 is used to generate signals above 140MHz, and Si5351 is used below it.
I also see that there is a code to power down adf4350 below 140MHz.
This is essentially a request to help for debug. two parts:
is there a known issue in keeping adf4350 powered up even when required freq is below 137/140MHz? Can I keep it powered up always wiithout negatively affecting measurements?
Is there a way to identify if I've shot adf430?
