  1. Should this tool produce a layer or separate file? Currently, if multipart features exist, they will be selected from the input layer after which the user the can navigate to them or explode all. If the user decides to navigate to each, the selection can easily be undone and lose track of the multipart features. However, the tool will print out a list of OIDs that the user can use to reselect them. I think this should be enough but creating a layer out of the multipart features is also simple.
  2. Should the tool error out if there are NULLs in the AREASYMBOL field?
