Cronometro is the library we're using for benchmarks and is having some issues running successfully cross-platform, even after a fix that I submitted recently. I would like us to be able to benchmark this library across multiple platforms, hence I suggest that we switch to a more widely used tool, such as https://github.com/evanwashere/mitata.
