(Was Waitlist Reminders, but then I overachieved. We're sending the e-mail anyway, might as well just send out the person's schedule.)
As the con is starting, e-mail folks with their list of games. Also call out which ones are waitlisted and let the person know the con's protocol on what you do if you're on a waitlist.
I'd also be up for sending this by text for those sorts of folks, but I gather that costs money, so the con chair or whoever should authorize that. But perhaps we should build in the ability to flip a switch if a con wants that.
Draft e-mail:
Subject: {badgename}'s {con} schedule
Hi {badgename}!
{Con} is about to start. Here's your schedule as it currently stands:
{list entire schedule with time, room numbers, and a link to each event page}
[If user has waitlisted games]
You're currently on the waitlist for {#} of those events. Thank you! Having people on waitlists makes {con} run more smoothly. If there's a drop and you're needed, you'll get an e-mail (and a text, if you've opted into that on your profile{link the word profile to the profile}).
In addition, there's sometimes people who don't show up to events without notice. To prepare for the situation where a "no show" happens, {con} requests waitlisted people do the following:
{con's policy on waitlists for no shows}
[end waitlisted games bit]
That's it. We hope you can make it to everything, but if something comes up, please use the link to withdraw from the events you'll be missing.
Enjoy {con}!
