It looks like speedy has a script to do that conversion and I am wondering if you are planning on 'porting' that procedure to macOS shell scripts as well?

I'm not opposed to it, but didn't have immediate plans, as the HDR10+ values can be wildly inappropriate for DV.

You're better off injecting the RPU data generated by DaVinci Resolve or extracted from another release.

Do you have a lot of HDR10+ files where this is a real need because there isn't an alternative DV RPU available? Considering this option, but like I said, it isn't advisable.

I do not. Just preparing for the possibility as my TV does not support HDR10+.

Hi Nekno. Great work on the DV7toDV8 app. Works a treat.

Any chance you've given further thought to creating a HDR10+ to DV8 MacOS app? It really would be very handy (appreciating the challenges you've explained above with creating such an app). I've heard of RESET's scripts, but don't have Windows.

Thanks a lot
