80’s Teletext Version?

I recall that even into the mid 90’s, there was an earlier WeatherStar style template which was much based on the teletext sort of local access video info channels on cable. It had two styles, one red and blue and another with a black bar, I believe. The graphics were much more primitive than the later “Local on 8’s”. Would it be possible to please have this as an alternative?

I like this idea. I'll start watching some videos of the 3000 to get a feel for how this project can be leveraged to also simulate the older hardware.
