Current v0.1.6 package is relatively heavy in size for the amount of code it contains including the only "jose" dependency lib:

MINIFIED + GZIPPED: 16.9 kB

Describe the solution you'd like

We should try and optimize the lib more since we are going to distribute it across third-party consumers.
