I use the Dev version from F-Droid, and wondered why my phone got so warm while charging. Turns out that nextcloud rescheduled everything form my "Camera" folder.
Changing the options for the Autoupload and dis/enabling "Also upload existing files" or setting "skip uploading if file already exists" will not change the rescheduling of every file. If needed I can provide logs.

Thanks for your work,
Michael

I have the same issue on a Samsung Galaxy A71. After the update to 20241218 with F-Droid more than 7.000 files were rescheduled to be uploaded again.

Thanks a lot, merry Christmas and BR

Thanks for reporting this.

My FairPhone 4 also started to sync between 20 and 40GB right before I left for the Christmas holidays...

in the meantime running NextCloud dev 20241228 and it is still syncing (as I hit my storage quota on the server)

Thank you for your confirmation.
We will try to reproduce it.
I am right now not sure how this can happen.
