Yup, I would also like the same feature, so that it will by default just give output at the end of the active file, or if cursor is active then just add the text from position of active cursor location

I haven't tried the plugin myself since I am looking for something that can work offline, but isn't there this section in readme:

Save transcription: Toggle this option to create a new file for each recording, or leave it off to add transcriptions at your cursor.

Is that not enough?
