Items "restricted to" roles instead of users?

Is it possible to restrict access to items to roles instead single users, like in old teampass releases?

I need to give read access to only a few items inside a folder to a single user, not to all the items inside the folder, but the "Restricted to:" field only show single users.

If i set the role of the user with read permission on folder he can see all the items, but if i add the user to the "restricted to:" of an item without read permission to his role for the folder's item he can't find it.

How can I do this?

Current version loaded: 3.1.2.45
