Render issue

I got the site installed on my machine. The site is running, but it does not render like it does on your website. If it matters, I am using webstorm as my IDE on a MacBook. Is this an issue with how I have it installed?

I have started writing my own website from scratch. One of the reasons is that I want to be able to share is from device to device and with other people. I do think that what you have made is fantastic. I just decided that it would be easier to write my own than to modify what you made.
