Permalink, unexpected behaviour

When I click on the permalink the url doesn't get copied. Maybe it was not wanted, but as a user I expect it and it could improve usability.

OK, this would make sense I guess. I'm not sure JS can copy links to the clipboard, though (?).

Hi, that should be quiet easy https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_js_copy_clipboard.asp, even thought I think that's not even needed.
I was referring more to the user experience. Since the user evidently is clicking on a link, something should happen.
IMAO the link should open in a new tab.
