Redmine issues checklist is a cool plugin that allows you to have checklist items in your issues.

There is another cool plugin called Redmine Issues Template that allows you to have a pre-set Issue template that end users can create a new issue from. It auto populates the ticket with the predefined content including issue checklists items.
I suspect that if you look at how the Redmine Issues Template folks are copying or using the checklist items you might get an idea of what's required.
I suspect it's just about copying the associated checklist items from the db for the issue.

We use the Redmine Checklists plugin (Light version).
Can you make the issue copy the checklist items if they exist in the original Issue?
