I'm liking Notes so far, but the inability to use a custom font is a problem for me as I don't like any of the fonts included. Perhaps there could be a dropdown or some sort of menu that allows you to select one of the system fonts?

I agree that on Linux it can be quite limiting since there are not many options. We might create an advanced preferences window to allow adding more fonts.
That's a good question. I'm not sure I have a good answer apart than that's what made sense at the time I developed it. Maybe we should change it for the next version. I'll create a new issue for that.
