TrimBox and CropBox not retained when "force OCR" is used

Discussed in #1178

TrimBox and CropBox are not being preserved in cases where we generate a new page PDF instead of modifying the existing one. Regular mode appears unaffected because the page boxes are copied.

Having the same problem where --force-ocr is resizing my pages. Any idea of a timeline?

Sorry to have to come back to this, but it's been a while and the problem seems to be persistent. Can we expect a fix, or is it time to look for an alternative? Here's a screenshot showing what happens to the attached page when I apply --force-ocr to it. The change to the page dimensions is apparent.

Trying to keep my requests on this just to every few months or so...is there any progress on this? Or at least a "will not fix"? TIA.

It's a case of "this is difficult to fix because the issue is complex and affects input files and command line options, and the maintainer is really busy and only has narrow windows throughout the calendar year to investigate complex issues".
