Seeing as all of these are owned by placeholder accounts, I assume their authors did not consent to the OW transfer and the projects were subsequently automatically marked as abandoned. AFAIK, abandoned projects do not appear in the catalogue. |

That makes a lot of sense. I wonder if anyone has more than a passing interest in addon archaeology, seeing addons change and evolve and die over time. It could be a fun data project. I'll wait until Overwolf reveal their plans for the API before starting anything. |

Another bout of spring cleaning. 682 addons have been removed from the Curseforge API this week, going from 15,937 addons to 15,255. They are still present on the website but with a banner that looks like: |

I wonder if the way it works is if they haven't been updated for x patches / game versions on CurseForge, they mark them as abandoned. |

I generate a catalogue of addons weekly and typically the curseforge catalogue has 20ish new addons, week over week.
Today while generating the catalogue I notice they actually have actually gone down, decreasing from 8861 to 8860 addons.
Here is a sample of addons that have been removed:
