At present, there is no evidence that companion animals/pets such as dogs or cats can be infected with the new coronavirus. However, it is always a good idea to wash your hands with soap and water after contact with pets. This protects you against various common bacteria such as E.coli and Salmonella that can pass between pets and humans

Many types of coronaviruses are known to spread among animals too. But that hasn't been observed for COVID-19, i think.

"Coronaviruses are zoonotic, meaning they are transmitted between animals and people. Detailed investigations found that SARS-CoV was transmitted from civet cats to humans and MERS-CoV from dromedary camels to humans. Several known coronaviruses are circulating in animals that have not yet infected humans." https://www.who.int/health-topics/coronavirus

Corona virus can be transmitted from day to day objects we get contact with.
Clothes toothpaste switches seats packages bags seats, door handles and lives for 24 hrs
Basically have to wash every part of body comes in contact with objects which multiple people touch or continuously use.
