RFE: A "memberberry" feature #39
Comments
So... it just spews quotes and facts at random times of the day? Memories and sorta just facts and quotes, so it'd be hard to differentiate. |
@yuqi-zhang I would say the difference would be that Memories don't tie to a single nickname |
I see. Not sure how easy it will be to populate the database since most people don't seem very active when it comes to !quotes and !facts as it stands. |
@yuqi-zhang shame on you. |
What if when you add a memory, Vilebot (or a memberry) tells you that it remembers. Also periodically Vilebot would drop Star Wars memories, just like in the show. |
Well on the bright side I've brought @emmettu out of hibernation for a day. |
For anyone that hasn't seen the latest South Park:

It would be cool to implement something that allows you to put "memories" (much like quotes) into Vilebot, and it would spill it out either when called !memory or does it automatically once in a while (at random business hours that without it being abusive).
It could incorporate quotes/facts and grab from the db as well, so it could say something like
"Remember when @yuqi-zhang wore a XS shirt and thought it fit? Remember?"
"Remember how @csanting has a body pillow of himself? Remember?"
In addition, we could also have a command to host events instead of quotes/facts.
