Server appears to only be able to do one thing at a time

I've noticed that while an upload is being processed, requests such as Load More on the Profile page look like they get backed up until the reblock calculation completes. I haven't verified this yet but it should be investigated and fixed if actually an issue, otherwise the site will be good only for demonstration purposes by a single user at a time.
