I hope this message finds you well. I’ve been exploring your open-source project, and I’m very impressed with the work you’ve done. I’m reaching out with a specific question about the SDR0 interface and its integration with ethtool.
Currently, I’m working on enabling IEEE 1588 protocol support, and I’ve noticed that software-transmit (software-based TX timestamping) already works seamlessly on the Ethernet interface using ethtool. I would like to extend this capability to the SDR0 interface.
Could you kindly guide me on how to add software-transmit to the ethtool output for the SDR0 interface via its driver? Are there any specific modifications or additions required in the driver or related modules to achieve this functionality ?
Thanks in advance,
