I would like to propose an idea for stock management when receiving pallets of equipment in boxes. The stock is managed by numbered locations, and a stock room is created with a plan using Draw, Visio, or AutoCAD.
A form is used to record the arrival of equipment, with a text area to define the location in the stock, to specify the model of equipment from the equipment model library, to add a serial number, date, inventory number, barcode, owner entity, equipment size, equipment category, and notes.
Once the registration is done, one can click on the storage area (A2 or B3) to see the list of devices stored in that location. Clicking on a device retrieves the details of the equipment with buttons for actions like installing in a rack (form for technicians), moving the equipment to a different rack or position, deleting, modifying, or updating.
Clicking on "Install in Rack" generates a form for technicians. Clicking on "Move Equipment in Rack" moves the equipment to the selected rack and unit. Looking forward to your feedback...
