Use Cases:
As a course author, I want…

  • To view course average information next to certain individual and at-risk learner metrics, so I can easily compare an individual/at-risk learner group to course-wide metrics without having to jump back to the course dashboard.

Requirements (Will update this epic to show a task list with users stories that deliver the following epic requirements)

Make it easier for me to compare an individual learner/group of learners to the course average (on the Individual Learner and At-Risk Learners Dashboards):

  • On the Individual Learner Dashboard
    • Problems tab, Problem Results Table:
      • Show % of correct attempts made for this problem among all learners who attempted this problem; call this column: Coursewide % Correct; put this to the left of the % Correct Column (rename to Selected Learner % Correct); If possible, visually indicate with color when Selected Learner % Correct is lower, equal to, or higher than Coursewide % Correct.
      • Show Avg Attempts Coursewide (sum of all attempts made / number of learners who attempted the problem) to the left of Correct Attempts column (rename Correct Attempts and Incorrect Attempts columns to Selected Learner Correct Attempts and Selected Learner Incorrect Attempts)
  • On the At-Risk Learner Dashboard
    • Engagement/Problems tab, Problem Attempts and Results Table:
      • Show % of correct attempts made for this problem among all learners who attempted this problem; call this column: Coursewide % Correct; put this to the left of the % Correct Column (rename to to Selected Learner % Correct); If possible, visually indicate with color when Selected Learner % Correct is lower, equal to, or higher than Coursewide % Correct.
      • Show Avg Attempts Coursewide (sum of all attempts made/ number of learners who attempted the problem) to the right of Avg Attempts column (rename to Selected Learner Avg Attempts). If possible, visually indicate with color when Selected Learner Avg Attempts is lower, equal to, or higher than Avg Attempts Coursewide.
