Store locator: really hard to find some places

Hi everyone!

Searching for a store is really difficult in the app and particularly for this one.
The name on OSM is Centre Commercial E.Leclerc.

It won't work with keywords like:

• Leclerc Clichy
• Leclerc 92
• Leclerc 92110

But I have to search exactly for E.Leclerc Clichy.
A counter-example is the Leclerc store in Levallois, which works with "Leclerc Levallois".

Can we somehow improve that search feature?

I must say your example is indeed frustrating. Have you tried also with the web app?
I don't think we can hope that OSM names will always match perfectly our expectations.
This is not the first issue about store search (cf. "cannot even reach the store location server" #5559).

Suggestions:

• trying to find stores also in the current prices store database (but that would mean that at least once someone managed to find the place)
• Consider introducing GPS for nearby shop search #5276 - an optional GPS based solution
• Offer the possibility to search price location by node/way/relation ID #5411
• Add a pathway to POI addition on Open Street Map #5336
