This project appears to be stopped, but I would like to know why it is stopped.
Personally, I feel that openFrameworks is tightly coupled with OpenGL, and there are many parts where GL functions are called directly by add-ons (etc) and it may be not a simple matter to migrate to Vulkan in order to seamlessly migrate add-ons (etc). However, I believe that this is a barrier that must be overcome.
If anyone knows the reason why this Vulkan fork has been stopped, please let me know. If simply a lack of committers, and if we can understand the current issues and status, I may be able to contribute in some way.
