This seems to change all files from space-indentation to tab-indentation, is that on purpose? It makes it hard to see what functional changes were made.

@hylkevds Yes, we introduced a code formatter to prevent messy formatting. The code formatting is encapsulated in an individual commit making it easier to review the change.
However, I can do the review of this pull request as the changes are technical only and I already worked on many similar PRs.
