Chef tests are already passing for the many cookbooks and I'm working on the outstanding issues.

The remaining machines are the wiki server, which is blocked for PHP version reasons, or machines that are begin retired.

And all the database servers.

And ridley, which runs civicrm, where php upgrades can be tricky. https://docs.civicrm.org/installation/en/latest/general/requirements/ says that php 8.1 is supported from civicrm 5.55. We're currently running civicrm 5.51.

Update: we are now running civicrm 5.57.1, so we could in theory upgrade ridley, but this might be the perfect opportunity to containerise the stuff running there.

Update 2: we are now runnning civicrm 5.67.2 and two extensions have been updated to support php 8.
