We have not validated the package with versions higher than 19.0. If you can provide details of the error and information as to what breaking changes were introduced in nimax api it would be super helpful! |

Hi All,
We've been using Bonsai to read and record analog inputs from NI USB-6001s alongside videos and other data for a couple of years now. One strange problem across all of our Windows 10 PCs is that the DAQmx version needed to be 21.8 or earlier, otherwise we would run into an error and Bonsai would crash (I saw other discussions on this topic at the time, which is how we solved it by going to an older DAQmx version!). We have now moved to Windows 11 on some PCs, and this issue is unchanged: using version 21.8 still allows us to run the code, but later versions do not. Unfortunately, we use Matlab to generate a lot of the signals using analog and digital outputs with separate software, and on Windows 11 our Matlab code will no longer work with this old version of DAQmx (DAQmx 21.8 is no longer compatible with Windows 11, according to NI, which says the earliest compatible version is 2022 Q3).
I wonder, has anyone been able to read analog inputs with Bonsai with newer DAQmx versions, and if so, how? This error will impact 6 recording set ups once we are forced over to Windows 11, so we are looking for an urgent fix.
