Yes, this has been long pending idea. Thank you for creating an issue. We could aim to create new collections with examples before the SAG in May 2023. @lamyakejji would you like to get started on making a climate related collection - we can highlight tomorrow.io, earthmetry, JBA and other Data Partners.

Just created a repository as the future home of the Open Data collection.

@g4brielvs GIS data sources covering the below aspects can be very useful to strengthen local capacities for resilience and recovery in underdeveloped countries with conflict and political instability: 

• Business activity trends

• Population density maps

• Commuting zones and trends

• Relative wealth maps

• Social connectedness maps

• Electrical grid maps

• Internet connectivity maps

• Inclusive internet indexes

• Labor flow trends

• Agricultural cropland data

Additionally, Some governments we work with are interested in using tourism data for development. Data Partners such as Tripadvisor, Booking.com can be very helpful.
